Cigar Accessories
Whether you’re a beginner or not, you should always be aware of the latest and greatest accessories to make smoking cigars more enjoyable, and more stylish!
Cigar Cutters
Using scissors or a knife to cut off the cap can cause the wrapper to unravel, messing up the experience. For a smooth draw and an even burn, a cigar cutter is a must.
Cutter types include:

Guillotine/Straight Cutters
Provide a nice clean cut, and feature a hole that your cigar is placed through, so are best used with small or medium cigars. You can get them with 1 or 2 blades, with double-bladed kinds cutting even cleaner.

Wedge/V-Cutters
Cut a v-shaped wedge from the head of the cigar. Useful when smoking fatter cigars, as there isn’t a hole the cigar has to fit through. The deeper the cut, the stronger the draw you’ll be able to get.

Punch Cutters
Punch a small hole in the cigar, which can increase the intensity of the experience. For less intensity, you’ll need one with a larger circumference.
Cigar Lighters
A good lighter is essential. You could use a disposable lighter, but sometimes the fluid in them can ruin the flavor and aroma.
Lighter types include:

Butane Lighters
Super common, but in order to not affect the flavor and aroma, you’ll need to find a lighter where the fuel is filtered, refined, and odorless.

Jet/Torch Lighters
Provide a strong flame instantly, which is almost always wind-resistant. Efficient and give a nice, even burn.
Cigar holders
Mouthpieces that let you smoke your cigar to the end without burning your fingers, or getting loose tobacco in your mouth. However, they can stop you from tasting the external leaves.

Humidors & cases
Humidors are special cases that maintain just the right humidity for cigar storage and can be used to store several cigars.
Travel cases are usually leather pouches, and keep cigars safer than they would be when thrown in a bag or pocket. You can also buy travel humidors.
